What we fix on LG ovens.

/01

F1 / F4 oven sensor fault

An F1 (upper) or F4 (lower) code means an oven temperature sensor (RTD) reads open or out of range, so the cavity over- or under-bakes. The sensor, near 1080-1100 ohm at room temperature, is tested and replaced.

/02

F2 over-temperature

An F2 code flags a runaway high temperature. The oven should be killed at the breaker, then a drifted sensor, a stuck relay, or a control fault is diagnosed before the heating circuit is allowed to run.

/03

F9 oven not heating

An F9 code means the oven fails to reach temperature. A failed bake or broil element, a thermal fuse, or a control relay not closing the heating circuit; the heating components are tested and replaced.

/04

F6 / F7 relay or convection fan

An F6 (overheat / stuck relay) or F7 (upper convection fan) code disrupts even baking. A stuck control relay or a stalled ProBake convection fan motor; the relay and fan motor are tested under load.

/05

Self-clean lock fault (F10 / F20)

An F10 (upper) or F20 (lower) door-lock code, or a latch stuck after self-clean, leaves the door locked. The latch motor, lock switch, or control output is tested so the door releases safely.

/06

Lower cavity dead on a double oven

On a WDEP double oven one cavity works while the other is dead. A failed element, a relay on the lower-oven control, or a wiring fault isolated to that cavity; the affected cavity is diagnosed.

/07

F11 main-to-display comms

An F11 code means the main board and display lost communication, so the panel is blank or frozen. A loose harness, a failed display board, or a control fault; each board is tested in turn.

/08

F19 fails to reach bake temperature

An F19 code means the oven cannot reach minimum bake temperature in time. A weak bake element, a drifted sensor, or a control relay not driving the element fully; the bake circuit is tested.

/09

F3 keypad key shorted

An F3 code flags a keypad key shorted for over a minute, so the oven beeps or ignores input. A failed membrane keypad or a control-board fault; the touch panel is tested and replaced as needed.

/10

Oven door will not seal or close flush

Heat escapes around the door or it no longer closes flush on a heavy built-in. A failed door gasket, worn hinges, or a sprung door spring; the door is realigned and resealed.

These are the most common issues — not an exhaustive list. Our technicians diagnose and repair any LG oven problem, including intermittent faults, unusual symptoms, and issues not listed here.

About LG oven repair

Common LG oven problems

Expert LG oven repair covers the built-in electric wall ovens that anchor a modern kitchen — single WSEP, double WDEP, and oven-plus-microwave WCEP combos. The faults we see most on an LG oven are an F1 or F4 temperature-sensor fault that throws baking off, an F2 over-temperature, an F9 when the oven will not heat, and an F10 or F20 self-clean lock that leaves the door latched. On a double oven one cavity can go dead while the other works, and an F11 comms fault can blank the display. ProBake Convection and EasyClean keep these ovens cooking evenly, but elements, sensors, latches, and fans still wear. Each fault traces to a single replaceable part.

Our LG oven repair process

Our experienced technicians confirm the exact WSEP, WDEP, or WCEP model before any work, since a single oven, a double, and a combo each fail differently. They read any F-code, then test the named component — checking the RTD sensor against spec, verifying the bake and broil elements and the convection fan under load, exercising the motorized self-clean latch, and inspecting the door gasket and hinges. We fit genuine LG parts matched to the build, and every visit is backed by a 30-day labour warranty. Most oven repairs are finished in one visit, and you can schedule an oven repair online whenever it suits you, with a clear quote before work begins.

LG oven models we service

We service the LG wall-oven lineup, including single ovens such as the WSEP4727F and WSEP4723F, double ovens like the WDEP9427F and WDEP9423F, and the WCEP6423F oven-plus-microwave combo. These electric ovens carry ProBake Convection, EasyClean, InstaView on supported models, Air Fry, and ThinQ for remote preheat and alerts. Whether the oven is a flush built-in single or a heavy Statement-style double, our model directory lists the elements, sensors, latches, fans, and control boards matched to each build so the right genuine part is fitted the first time.

Error codes and diagnostics

LG ovens report F-codes that pair reading the code with electrical testing. F1 and F4 flag the upper and lower oven sensors; F2 an over-temperature; F6 an overheat or stuck relay; F7 the convection fan; F9 the oven failing to heat; F10 and F20 the upper and lower door locks; F11 a main-to-display comms fault; and F19 the oven failing to reach bake temperature. PF (power failure) and CL (Clean-Lock) are not faults. Our technicians confirm each code at the named part before fitting anything, and you can look up what each means on our oven error-code guides.
